Located deep in the heart of Toronto, Canada (often referred to as Hollywood North and one of the major nerve centers of international filmmaking), the TFC is the hub of cinema studies in Canada; a place where you can acquire the practical and professional tools needed to succeed while exposing yourself to the inner workings of the in one of the most in-demand industries in the world…film and television.

Our classrooms at the TFC are equipped with state of the art digital and film cameras (including the Panasonic P2 high definition camera used in professional television productions), projectors, and imac computers, enabling you to learn, practice and master industry standard skills and techniques. Our Career Centre also works tirelessly with local production companies to give you experience working in a real film studio or set right at the beginning of your program.

Our faculty is comprised of real working industry pro’s, teachers who will passionately and creatively share their invaluable insight and knowledge. An extensive film theory and history component complements intensive directing, screenwriting, shooting, lighting and editing training.
